Hey everyone,
First thank you so much for your support, none of this would have been possible without you.
I am looking foreward to my trip in July and getting very excited about it. While there I will have access to the internet so hopefully I will be able to update this fairly regularly and tell you all about what I am doing there.
I am going with Campus Crusade for Christ in a group made up of 32 students and staff. Most of these people are from colleges in Colorado but our group includes people from across the country. My friend Thuli is also going to be a part of this mission but she is already from South Africa, so we just get to meet her there.
Most of the time we will be on the campus of the University of Pretoria or working with Beam Africa, which is a center that trains adults with valuable job skills. It also doubles as an aids orphanage during the day.
We also have 2 outings that bring out the touist in each of us. One day we will go on a Safari and then one weekend we will go to Cape Town.
